Anna is a freshman at New York University studying finance in the Stern School of Business and film and television in the Tisch School of the Arts. She is very excited to have the opportunity to volunteer with WIFF!

Simone is a Junior at SUNY New Paltz. She studies English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Digital Media Production. A former Kitchen Manager at Ample Hills Creamery, she has since set her sights towards becoming a screenwriter. She’s worked as Script Supervisor on the short film Brace for Impact and as Script Writer for Airhead, a student film for BEA’s 2018 Film 48 Competition. Her favorite movies are Fight Club, Men in Black, and Coraline. She is ecstatic for the opportunity to be a first-time judge for WIFF.
Sarah McCluskey has just finished her freshman year at NYU Tisch majoring in Acting with a minor in The Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. She grew up outside Boston, but now is excited to continue becoming a part of the incredible community in NYC. She is excited to join the WIFF social media team and help support such an incredible and meaningful festival that gives a voice to so many inspiring women.
Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed watching movies. I promise myself that I would make movies one day because I was so obsessed with films. I was fascinated with the idea of movies at a young age and that led me to pursue a career as an actor. In 2010 I had the pleasure working on set as a background dancer on a movie called “Friends with benefits” starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. Bronx Community College with an Associate Degree in Media Studies. I am studying Film and Video Production at The City College of New York. I have the knowledge of directing, writing scripts, treatments and producing short films.
Orla Patterson is a rising sophomore at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, currently studying Drama at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School with a minor in Film. While she primarily focuses on directing, she is also a writer, stage manager, designer, and actor. Orla is very excited to be a part of #WIFF2019, and cannot wait to bring the festival to NYC this summer!
Mary is a student at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU studying Drama. She is originally from Barbados in the Caribbean and it is her dream to help grow the entertainment industry there. She is an actor, budding writer, director and curious person who loves to learn new things.
